Registration


This event is open to all with an interest and you can now register online. You are advised to read the following information and our terms and conditions prior to completing your booking.

Fees

The registration fee is inclusive of refreshments and lunches, a buffet with posters, 3 course private dinner, Malcolm Haines memorial concert and all event material. Please indicate your attendance when registering.  

Accommodation is not included within the registration fee and must be prebooked separately.  A list of local hotels is available here.

The following fee applies to those registering online and paying with a credit or debit card. The discount will be applied at the basket page when "credit card" is selected as the method of payment. The Conferences department reserve the right to amend your fee without prior notice if an incorrect payment method is selected. Please note the discount is only available until the registration deadline.

Cancellation and refund policy
The Institute operates a cancellation policy as follows. All cancellations must be made in writing. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions which are available online at www.iop.org/conferences/regterms. Please make sure you have read and understand the T&Cs before registering for the conference. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

If the written cancellation is received by the Institute:
• at least six weeks prior to the first day of the event, a full credit/refund will be issued
• less than six weeks, but at least three weeks, prior to the first day of the event, a full credit/refund minus a 20% administrative charge will be issued
• less than three weeks prior to the first day of the event, or you do not attend the event, no refund will be issued.

Online registration is recommended via our secure server. For those unable to register online, you can request a registration form by e-mail to conferences@iop.org or by telephone to +44 (0)20 7470 4800.

Payment of fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through RBS WorldPay secure payment server. All payments must arrive by 4 April 2014. After that day, all unpaid registrations will be cancelled.

Confirmation of your payment will be sent by e-mail once the transaction has been successfully processed.
